Biography Agressiva 69 ]
Agressiva 69 send its first message to the world in 1990.
Tomek and Jarek decided to create the band which would introduce completely
new quality to the Polish youth music scene. The initial recordings have
been mixed into the compilation album Fala 3 (Wave 3). Their music combined
the sampling techniques with very sharp, heavy guitars and recalled sounds
of music such as Ministry, Skinny Puppy or Young Gods.
In 1992 the band appeared at the Jarocin, the biggest
state open air festival which resulted with a record contract with SPV
Poland. Deux Ex Machina came out the following year. Agressiva 69 was joined
by Robert and Bodek and went on tourney with the Polish cult bands De Press
and Apteka.
They happened to reach a hill-crossing point in 1994,
when the following record Hammered By The Gods was awarded as the best
Industrial record of the year by the prestigious rock magazine from Poland
Brum. Agressiva 69 started playing common gigs with other pioneers of the
Polish techno scene, Hedone, Nowy Horyzont, Hotel Dieu to name a few. Their
first video clip Money Is A Sin appeared in the popular alternative tv
program Drgawy.
Fresh energy arrived in the person of Dzabi, the charismatic
guitarist of Jesus Chrysler Suicide. They signed together a new record
deal with Koch Int. Poland. Leaving the industrial past behind. Agressiva
69 moved towards lighter trance regions of the famous techno music of today,
music made by bands such as: The Prodigy and famous band from Holland Junkey
XL.
Their single Pure came out at the end of 1997 , followed
by the full-length album 2.47, both well received by the critics and fans.
They did a concert with The Prodigy for 10.000 people. This concert opened
the doors for Agressiva 69 the doors to become more and more known in Poland.
They made remixes for the best Polish bands like: VADER,
Jesus Chrysler Suicide and many more bands!
