Damnable (Novum Vox Mortis) ]
Damnable came into being in may 1992, with the line-up:
Yehovy (vocals), Clans (bass), Melon (drums) and Andy (guitars). After
about a year of it's existence Rolly (bass) joined the band and Clans started
to play guitar. In April '94 Yehovy left the band and he was replaced By
Bayn (vocals). With this new line-up they recorded a rehearsal tape, thanks
to which The band was able to play on the biggest musical Festival in East
of Europe - FMR Jarocin '94. After the festival the band recorded
a demo With eight tracks entitled "Obsession pain" (August '94). The demo
aroused very good reviews in the underground and as a result of that Damnable
started to play a great number of concerts in the country. At the end of
1996 Clans left the band. His seat was replaced by Bayn (guitars &
vocals). In 1996 Damnable appeared at the top of the Polish metal scene.
A good Run began with the mini-tour in January, in Poland with Swedish
band Deranged . After the tour the band recorded new material entitled:
"Inperdition". They signed a deal with Polish label "Immortal Records".
In July '97 the German T&M Records released two tracks of Damnable
On their compilation cd with the Spanish band "Haemorrhage". In March 1998
Damnable played gigs in Germany and later in Czech Republic. After these
shows a new deal was signed with "Novum Vox Mortis". As a result of that
a new album entitled "The Futuristic Trial Of Mankind" was released as
a split with the band "Incarnated" from Olsztyn (Poland). Later Melon (drums)
left the band and was replaced by Cousin (drums) At present Damnable
is preparing themselves to some new gigs to check out their new drummer.
During the summer of 1999 the band is to record a new album!
