The group came into being in 1971 was named Silesian
Blues Band. It co - operated with Czeslaw Niemen the next two years. In
1974 took a place it's first performance. The group quickly gained very
wide ircle of followers, in spite of the leader, Jbzef Skrzek, fears. "Contemporary
music is difficult, controversial and sophisticated - said in 1975. For
it's sympathisers we propose our own art conception, derived on the one
side from classical music, on another from blues, jazz and rock. The music
gives voice to inclination, aspirations andthoughts of the young people
of seventies." WELCOME and FOLLOW MY DREAM are the revivals of the best
recordings of Polish symphonic rock classics -SBB- the group that was comparable
to Genesis, Pink Floyd. The group that was the first from East Europe invited
for Roskilde Festival and was called the best trio from the times of Cream
and Hendrix.
SLOVENIAN GIRLS is a fascinating and wonderful. Is includes
very wide developed compositions, full of poetry, that turn into rhythmical,
hard jazz and rock sounds, gentling in one moment and turning into gentle
pop music.
