Sweet Noise formed in the fall of 1990 in Poznan, Poland. The founders are vocalist Peter Mohamed and drummer Bina. The band spent a couple of years trying to find their own musical direction and style. As years went by it came out that it lies Between thrash metal, hard rock, blues and alternative rock. 

They worked hard playing concerts all over Poland and soon became one of the best live acts in their country. Their natural energy, charisma and most of all- honesty, made people believe them. The year 1994 was the crucial year in Sweet Noise’s career: The fourth prize in the Mokotowska Jesien Muzyczna in Warscha; The first prize in the rock bands Festival in Wegorzewo; The artistic council Prize and the journalists ‘Prize in rock music festival’ in Jarocin; The first prize in Le Printemps de Bourges Qualifications Festival in Koszalin. 

In the fall of 1994 Izabelin Studio/ Polygram Poland signed the band. Sweet Noise released their first LP "respect" in January 1995. It turned out to be a warm welcomed debut. Critics said: "This record knocks you down with it's powerful, hard and crushing sound, There is no mercy." 

Up to 15 000 of "respect" have been sold in Poland. The song ‘Dignity’ became a huge hit A protest against the lack of self- esteem! 

The video that Sweet Noise made for their song ‘cisza’ (silence) was nominated for one of the best video's of the year at polish music video awards. European MTV noticed the video and transmitted it repeatedly in the program, Headbangers Ball. 

May 1995 Le Printemps De Bourges Festival in France, which was headlined by: Machine Head, Suicidal tendencies, Magadeth and Therapy, this turned out to be the next great success. Sweet Noise became one of the best newcomers. The French people accepted their wild live act. December 1995 - the band toured in Poland with most known band in Western- Europe: VADER, this is the most successful Polish Death Metal band. 

1996 
February, the single "Ghetto" is the first international release in Polygram Poland which is followed in March by the album with the same name. Critics say from this album: "The guitars and drums hold the same fire which fuels Sepultura or Rage Against The Machine – Sweet Noise more than live up to their name with ferocious, relentless rock’n roll!" Music & Media 1/3/97. "Polish bands are taking us by surprise with an album of the most serious heavy metal" Metal Hammer Greece 1/6/97. "Ghetto", a song that makes Slayer soft/superb" Metal Invader, Greece 1/6/97 

June, Sweet Noise perform again in Slovakia on the Rock Pop Bratislava Festival and play as support for Biohazard in Warsaw. The Americans loved the show! 

July, the band took part in a big national charity campaign for the flood victims in Poland. 

August, the video of the Polish version of "Stone" – "Bruk", nominated in Yach Film Festival ’97, awarded as the video of the year. Besides Grand Prix the video wins in two other categories: the best shooting and best director. It is worthwhile to say that Peter Mohamed coordinated making of the video together with the directors: Taszakowski &Molski. 
November the 15 th, the band performed with big success on The Headbangers Heaven Festival in s’ Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, organized by Mojo Concerts, Aardschok Magazine and Dynamo Festival Office! 

1998 
 The year started with new success. The polish edition of "Guitar & Bass" magazine Has chosen the album "Ghetto" as the best guitar album of the year ’97 in the category – Metal. Maly received the second prize as the best metal guitar player and Letki received the second prize as the best metal bassist!
